Three small things to do this week, and one thing you can safely ignore.

A note from the founder
Your workspace is ready, Maya.
Fieldnote is where your team’s interviews, observations and loose ideas stop getting lost. It works best when it is a little boring: one place, used every day.
Here is what I would do in your first week. None of it takes more than ten minutes.
| 1 |
Write one note, badly
Paste the last thing a customer told you. Rough is fine — you can tidy it later, and the habit matters more than the prose.
| 2 |
Invite the person who takes the most calls
Usually support or sales. They hear the most and write the least; Fieldnote is built to make that easy for them.
| 3 |
Tag three notes with the same word
That is a theme. Themes are the whole point: they turn a pile of quotes into something you can bring to a planning meeting.
What you can ignore for now
Integrations, templates and permissions. They are useful in month two. In week one they are a way to feel busy without writing anything down.

If anything is confusing, reply to this email. It comes to me, and I read every one.
